ABOUT

Paula Gilbert is the founder of Garden Shed Marketing and has over 10 years’ experience in digital marketing delivery and consultancy, and prior to that, 15+ years in media production.

She’s worked with a range of organisations to achieve a wide variety of business goals – from increasing visibility, to getting websites to convert, to increasing signs ups and sales. She’s delivered for SMEs, not for profits and in the public sector.

Most recently, she has been marketing lead at a large not for profit, taking the organisation through a successful restructure of the marketing department and brand refresh.

Her background spans over a decade in professional messaging and media, having worked as a senior producer on programmes for BBC, ITV and Sky, and as a former broadcast news producer.

She loves working with great people to see organisations deliver greater impact. If you’d like a clear path through the marketing white noise, get in contact!

WHY THE ‘GARDEN SHED’?

This is a logo with an outline of a shed with writing inside saying The Garden Shed with a lightbulb

Ten years ago, I swapped life in London for the Surrey Hills.

As I was building my marketing agency, I was also digging a vegetable patch in my new garden.

When it came to choosing a name, I wanted something that felt friendly and approachable – like a place you’d go to find the right tools.

That’s how Garden Shed Marketing was born.

Marketing shouldn’t feel intimidating. Yet many business owners are put off by jargon and tech.

I believe growing a business should feel like tending a garden: it takes some leg-work, a vision and a plan – but it can also be rewarding and fun.

With the right toolkit and strategy, your business is ready to grow.

Over the past decade, I’ve helped countless SMEs flourish (and harvested some bumper crops along the way).

If you’d like to see how I can help your business thrive – with more sales, sign-ups, engagement, and customers (not carrots 😉) – drop me a line.
